But once again, we have the usual dilemma – can my dog eat Pancakes?
The classic human recipe is not the best option for our dogs.
Some ingredients such as sugar, baking powder, chocolate… Can be toxic to them.
And others, for example, plain flour, may not be toxic but there are plenty of healthier options you can choose instead.
Fear not, healthy alternatives are available for the little ones!
Choose one of the below and enjoy a well-deserved Pancake with your best friend!

Option A) THE EASY PEASY
Ingredients
1 organic ripe banana
1 organic medium egg
1 dash of cinnamon (optional)
½ tsp organic cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil (for frying, if necessary)
Toppings (optional)
Organic fresh fruit (recommended bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Organic 100% peanut butter
Organic dry coconut flakes
Organic goat yoghurt
Organic honey
Method
- Mash the banana with a fork.
- Add the cinnamon.
- Beat eggs and add to banana mixture combining well.
- Heat the frying pan over medium heat and if necessary add 1/2 x teaspoon of coconut oil for frying.
- Pour 1 or 2 x tablespoon of mixture onto frying pan and cook on each side until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and serve.

Option B) THE ANCIENT ONE
Ingredients
100g organic buckwheat flour
200ml goat milk
1 organic medium-sized egg
1 tbsp organic 100% carob drops
½ tsp organic cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil (for frying, if necessary)
Method
- Whisk up the egg and whisk in the milk.
- Add the flour to the mixture combining well.
- Add the carob drops to the mixture and blend.
- Place the bowl into the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Heat the frying pan over medium heat and if necessary add 1/2 x teaspoon of coconut oil for frying.
- Pour 1 or 2 x tablespoon of mixture onto frying pan and cook on each side until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and serve.

Option C) THE SOUR & TASTY
Ingredients
1 and ½ medium potatoes
50ml goat milk
1 organic medium egg
½ tsp olive oil (for frying, if necessary)
Topping
Lactose-free soft cheese – 100% soft cheese (milk)
Method
- Boil potatoes with skins for about 30 minutes or until soft enough to pierce easily with a fork.
- Drain and mash the potatoes.
- Mix in the egg and milk with the mashed potatoes until smooth.
- Heat the frying pan over medium heat and if necessary add 1/2 x teaspoon of olive oil for frying.
- Pour 1 or 2 x tablespoon of mixture onto frying pan and cook on each side until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and serve with soft cheese.
